Our First Communion students had a busy but exciting year, receiving their next Sacraments. First Penance is held in December, and they receive their First Communion in the spring. Parents are active with this preparation, attending Mass and Sunday classes with their students. Students attend CCD classes for at least one full year prior to the year that they start preparing for sacraments.  Attending and participating in Mass each weekend is most important in preparing to receive the Eucharist.
